Lake Powell

Every year, the Jones Family (Trav's mom's side) make a big trip to Lake Powell.

Unfortunately, this year, I couldn't do much. My stress during finals made me skip a cycle. Apparently my body recognized it right before I got on the boat and poof! Red bathing suit!
Do you like my details? I'm trying to hold back on bluntness. So I spent most of the days lying down on the house boat or floating in the water like a manatee. But I managed to get out and take some pictures.

It was actually really cute. Trav stayed in the water (with a little orange flag) teaching Mom how to do it.

I did manage to go on a long kayak trip with Trav. Two younger cousins actually decided to join us. When they got tired, we tied their kayaks to the end of ours. Talk about an arm workout.

See that hole in the rock? We kayaked all the way over there. And hiked around a bit.

Then, we went to the super sandy beach. If you feel like staring at the picture for a while, you can see how this picture connects to the above picture by looking at the row of holes. They're barely noticeable on the first picture. In other words, it was a long way.

And finally we went to that island rock that looks like a cone.

Another favorite activity: log raft duels. Basically you try to knock the other person off.
