I think it means to live each day with purpose. Not to let the tide pull us along, but to be the "masters of our own fates--the captains of our own souls" as it were (okay...there's some liberty with that quote...but you get the point). Passion in our lives doesn't necessarily mean that we head toward something oblivious to all else around us. Passion means we live with all our being, not letting any part be dormant, not letting any hope go unnoticed and unacknowledged. Not fulfilling those hopes, not being perfect with our selves, but recognizing and being aware of who we are and what we want and reassuring ourselves that we will find a way to reach that happiness. Passion is choice. Choice in living. Choice of life.

I'm not sure if you are seriously asking this or being poetic or something...
I'm seriously asking.

Choice in living.
Choice of life.
...at least to me.
